What is Partners In Ministry?  The answer is that individual deacons are assigned to specific homebound members and specific Sunday School units in our church.  The responsibility of each deacon is to provide encouragement, support, and “hands on” ministry to the homebound member or Sunday School unit to which they are assigned.  That ministry may be contacting members who are inactive.  It may be ministering to someone who is hurting.  It may be helping someone walk through a crisis.  In the broadest sense, it is having a deacon partner with the leadership in a particular Sunday School unit to provide needed ministry to those in that unit.
